Absolutely,  We recommend getting your building built ahead of time to beat any order rushes that are due to come in spring and fall. There is no charge for this.

This is common for waiting for a spring thaw or a level pad to be installed under your new building. When you are ready give us or our driver a call and we can usually schedule something within a week or two.

You don’t need to be onsite if we can see the pad or you give us directions to where it’s got to go.

Yes, If we can accommodate each other schedules, we will definitely move your building as long as it meets certain criteria for our specialized building moving equipment. We recommend a Grade 5 Road Gravel base for good drainage and ease of packing & leveling. We currently do offer this too, however, it is something you could do yourself or hire a professional landscaper.

The top of the gravel should be 4-6 inches above the surrounding grade and be at least 12 inches wider than the building on all sides. Your gravel must be packed, flat, and level.  Stay away from low areas, grass, and black dirt as this will void warranties and make your building mold and act like a sponge. For example, a 10×10 building should be a 12×12 pad, also note, if you’re getting a ramp. it is 4′ out from the building by the width of the door. Get extra gravel for this area.

Keep in mind if you don’t want winter heaving and spring sinking. I would seek advice from a professional landscaper. It is possible to set a building on concrete, however,  gravel is the least expensive and if you so choose, we recommend for new concrete be laser leveled or provide shims to get the building level on previously installed unlevel concrete.  Estimated costs are usually from a few hundred bucks to do your self which is very easy to do or for a professional installation depending on the size of the building see the flooring section of our online design center for a professional estimate for your size of the building. As long as you are ordering a custom building to be built, the delivery is included in the price. If you purchase and inventory building there may be an additional delivery charge that you can see at check out.

We recommend you check to see if a permit is necessary or not. In most areas, you can build a shed or buy a portable building up to 120 sq ft without a permit. If it is larger than that a permit may be required but this is your choice to seek this.

Sometimes building a permanent building vs a portable pre-built building has different statutes and permits. Each township, city, and county is different, it is recommended to contact your correct municipality for details.

Customers are responsible for seeking their own permits. Sheds Delivered nor our delivery drivers are responsible for incorrect permitting. Ultimately if you decide to buy a building, it’s yours and we assume you have done your due diligence.

Just like any big box store, and with the ever-changing supply & demand in this fluctuating market we require a 100% payment to secure building materials and your installation, build, and delivery date. However, there are certain circumstances in a business or situation where this may be adjusted but final payment would still be due at a minimum of 45 days prior to delivery. For most buildings from order to delivery is 2-4 weeks. Please contact us with your inquiry but we kindly prefer & wish you to pay 100% in full. This saves on office accounting and gives us a sense of security building your custom building and while delivering it throughout the state to and to your property. We also accept Rent to Own, Financing, Cash, Checks, & Credit Cards.

No, sometimes our delivery time changes for unforeseen circumstances, such as flat tires, or the previous customer taking longer than expected.  We will call you prior to delivery to give you roundabout times either way. We prefer you to be there and if not the area can be marked where you want it set.

We work on a first come first served. It is usually 2-4 weeks between the order and delivery. However in July through November months, we tend to be 3-5 weeks. Call us to see where we are currently. The best safe scenario is to order the building earlier than you need it by.

However, we never want to over-promise any estimated completion times. Once the building is completed fully, we will notify our delivery crew that it is ready for delivery. At this time, the crew will call you to schedule a date that works best for you and the haulers for delivery.

The building can stay on our lot after it is built until you are ready for delivery. I would say, book your travels at your perfect timing and we will ship your building when it’s best for you.

We are sorry to say, Yes, on large building purchases like this, we just can not eat the credit card fees but this also allows us to have near the lowest prices in this industry.

At the time of check out and if you choose to pay by credit card, the processing fees of 3% is added automatically. However, some customers tell us they get 5% cashback and they would still be ahead by 2% on this purchase.

As of right now we only deliver anywhere in the entire state of Wisconsin. And Partially 15 miles into UP Michigan, MN, and IL. No other states at this time. It may be possible for us to meet other delivery drivers at the state border but with license and permitting we will not deliver a building into another state at this time other than the 15 miles across the border. There could be acceptations, please call.

Our standard sheds come with floors on many treated 4 x 6 skids. Most of the time the skids are notched to allow 2×4 treated lumber floor joists with an option to choose for every 16 or 12 inches on center, and standard 5/8 LP ProStruct Tongue/Groove Fungal/Termite Treated Floor plywood on top.

In our “3D Shed Builder” under the Flooring and Interior tab, we also offer to upgrade to 3/4 Floor and Floor Joists upgrade to 2×6 treated and all models sizes are 12″ on center.

You can also choose to remove the flooring altogether in your building up to 200 square feet in our design center or more with a custom quote by our staff, however, there are costs for the extra bracing to the structure of the building, and for time-consuming delivery setup and placement. Yes, Please build and customize your building on our 3D Shed Builder the best you can, it does not need to be symmetrical, we will make sure it is at the time of build. Place your windows and doors and leave special instructions at the time of order. Otherwise, call us and we will mark up your order prior to building.

They are wall studs and rafters are spaced every 16″ on center. You can choose to upgrade from 2×4 to 2×6 stud walls in the interior section of our design center.
